to gynaedoc - iron deficiency

Dear Gynae doc

My son has speech problems - I have read in an article they say that when you have have an iron deficiency in your pregnancy it may cause speech problems later on. I was admitted to hospital a few months later and was told that I was aneamic - but was given medication as is fine now - I just wanted to know how true this is - for we are planning a baby again and will then mention this to the gynae.
