Ek het in Desember 2009 ''n " subtotal thyroidectomy"  gehad en gaan jaarliks vir ''n sonar ondersoek. Die radioloog het ondervind dat daar reaktiewe limfnode gedemostreer is en ''n duidelike hiper eggoiese hilis is - Wat beteken dit, en moet ek bekommerd wees?

Die reaktiewe limfnodes is vergroting van die limfnodes as gevolg van 'n inflammatoriese proses. Ek is seker jou dokter sal hierdie bevinding verder ondersoek met bloedtoetse en 'n moontlike biopsie. Hiper eggoiese hilis beteken dat 'n sekere gedeelte van die weefsel wat oorgebly het na jou operasie meer "aktiwiteit" toon. Weereens sal jou dokter verdere ondersoek moet instel.

Moenie bekommerd wees voor jou dokter die uitslae bestudeer het nie.
