Thrush Continuos Infection

i am 25 yrs old and have been having thrush infections since i was 20. i have them at least once a month and i always get them treated then they go away and come back again and are not linked to anything specifically. i use a special feminine hygiene soap and have tried everything. my GP has told me that unfortunately some people produce more yeast than others and it is something you cant cure. do you perhaps have any others things that i can try or is there something that i can change that i am eating, i am desperate to get something done as it causes problems for me and my husband.
