The future of Medical Aids as we know them today

Hi Kobus (hoe gaan dit!) what are your views about the structure of medical aids as we know them today?

It is a very broad question. The Medical Aid industry is a very much regulated industry via legislation. Access to health care for the most people in SA is a very big drive from the Goverment- therefor Medical Aids need to look at theire cost structures to enable them to provide affordable health products for everyone in the country. Currently, the cost structures are in my opinion to high and therefor not affordable for everyone. At least the reserve issue is solved today.
