TB

My husband was diagnosed with TB 3 weeks ago and has been on medication since. For the past week he has sever pains in his lower back down to his one thigh and can hardly get out of bed. He has been back to the doctor who then thought it was a slip disc but after x-rays they find that it is not a slip disc and has now referred him to a specialist for a scan. Can TB affect any other area of your body besides the lungs or manifest in any other part of your body?
