The date of birth is not helpful as babies can be born anytime from 36-42 weeks of pregnancy. The last period would be needed to calculate the conception date.

Best wishes

It all depends on how long the mother was pregnant for.

Full term pregnancy is 40 weeks and calculated from when she had her last period but she could have had a caesar at say 38 weeks.

Conception usually takes place 2 weeks after the last period.

You need to know these details to work out when she would have conceived. If she had the baby at 39 weeks for example then you would count back 37 weeks to when she would have conceived (usually 2 weeks after last period). You would have had to have had sex 37 weeks ago.

Hope you understand this.

A blood test must be done to determine paternity.
