stomach burning pain

My fiance suffers from burning pain in the abdomen starting from under the breastbone which lasts for about 30 minutes, while the pain slowly moves down to her navel. She has experienced this pain for the last 13 years. Normally it happens in early morning or just after she wakes. She has been for many tests over the years and has even been monitored in hospital while experiencing this, but nobody has been able to help. They can not explain it. She is currently 29 years old and can not stand it anymore. Please could someone try and explain this symptom.

Dear Gouwsap
If she had a gastroscopy that was normal, it may be that she gets esophageal spasms. Has she seen a gastroenterologist about this yet?
Does it help if she takes an anti-acid?
Has she tried an antispasmodic?
Does she have any other symptoms like nausea or heartburn?

Hi
My husband suffered from a similar thing. His pain moved from the chest to his naval section round to his shoulder blades. The moment he got up it would pain, but should he lie down again it is as if the pain slowly became less. He was diagnosed with reflux disease ( to much acid) He is taking Altosech daily, and no more pain. Hope this helps.
