stich or no stich?

hi, i lost my son 4months ago at 22 weeks.i am now 13 weeks preg and my new dr is saying he will not put a stich because he thinks my cervix will cope.My previous dr when i miscarried did not really know why i miscarried he claims it might have been an infection.i feel things will go well this time but i am a bit corncerned of what if something does go wrong?please advice.i have a 3yr daughter and this went well with her.

I would suggest that you ask your doctor to monitor the length of the cervix with ultarsound to check for any shortening. If this occurs, a stitch may be necessary.
