Steam room good for cold or flu?

Hi

was just wondering as I read and know that sweating out a cold is a good thing, but is a steam room session good or bad when you have a cold? I know exercise is bad, but is sweating bad in this case too?

Dear Lollz
The steam may be good for the dry nasal passages - but just don't overdo it and don't catch cold when you come out of the steam room
