It's a good start, and that's what you should be focused on right now. I think that by worrying about the weight loss, you may be getting ahead of yourself a little bit. Rather just focus on getting fitter. What you'll find is that over the course of maybe the next two weeks, you'll get stronger, and fitter, and the training will seem easier than before. That's a great sign of progress, and should be your number one goal for at least the first 6 months of this plan.
Try not to get stuck on the weight, it will only be a barrier to progress, because from the sounds of it, you have little weight to lose.
Over time, you'll need to increse the trainig, but the bio will help you with that. As you get fitter, more cardio, slightly higher intensity, and a different approach to weight training will be in order. But that's for November and December, just focus on the start now..
