Yes, very effective. Spinning is good because it's quite high intensity and it also lasts 45 minutes, at least, and so if you do that regularly, together with the other classes, then you're certainly on the right track. Ideally you want to be training 4 or 5 days a week, so 2 spinning sessions and a couple of the other training classes would be ideal.
Remember the importance of diet, and bear in mind that any exercise is not effective unless it's also accompanied by the right diet, so address that too.
