Dear Mariana
You can use pepper, most herbs and many spices plus lemon juice and fresh garlic to flavour food for diabetics. Avoid using too much table salt and those flavouring agents like garlic salt and Aromat that have a very high sodium content as high bp which is often found in diabetics may worsen with too high a sodium intake. If you use chutney, keep in mind that 1 tablespoon is the equivalent of about 2 t of sugar.
