Dear Duck

Thank you for visiting health24.com.

Do you mean "overactive bladder"? This is a syndrome including urge incontinence, urgency, frequency, dysuria and nocturia. Risk factors are age, interruption of central nervous system inhibitory pathways, i.e. stroke or cervical stenosis. This is also seen with bladder irritation, for example, infection of the bladder, stones, inflammation and neoplasm (cancer) of the bladder.

I trust that the above information answers your question.

Kind regards

Dr Anrich Burger
