Basically the milk that has gone sour is probably not going to harm you, but it won't taste very nice. If you purchase unpasteurised milk and it goes sour, you can actually make cottage cheese by separating the whey and the curds - don't, however, do this while you are pregnant as the unpasteurised milk could contain microorganisms such as TB or brucellosis which can be harmful. The same applies to sour milk that is past its expiry date - bad taste.
