Naand dokter
Kan so iets ooit opgeklaar word?
Baie dankie

Dear Tilly

Its possible that the lesion on your mom's foot is not a wart but a corn which is caused by foot shape, pressure friction etc. It is possible that the doctor removed the wart which has left an area of scar tissue that will form a painful callus over it.

These lesions will need regular treating to remove the hard, dead skin layers. It is possible to remove these dead layers regularly with a pumice stone or similar and regular application of a good moisturiser will also help.
