Dear Joanne
Compliments of the season to you. Snoek is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids which are known to lower harmful LDL-cholesterol. Other fatty fish which are rich in omega-3 fatty acids include salmon, sardines, mackerel, herring, and tuna.
Eating fish, particularly oily fish, 2 to 3 times a week, lowers the risk of heart disease.
