snacking


Hi Doc,

which is best to snack with during the day: raisins or peanuts with raisins.

Peanuts and raisins are both excellent snacks being rich in various nutrients (e.g. iron, dietary fibre and carbohydrates are found in raisins, while peanuts provide plenty of plant protein, B vitamins and some minerals plus polyunsaturated fats). However both these foods have high energy contents so if you eat them and are trying to lose weight, make sure that you only have 30 g of a peanut and raisin mixture per day.
