Small bowel resection

I would like to know how safe this operation REALLY is? Are there any long term problems afterwards? Is there anyone that has had the operation and what is THEIR feedback? I know Dr de Beer does it in Pretoria ...

Ounooi, it is fairly unsafe and that it why it is reserved for people who are so obese that their health is seriously compromised. The operation is also fairly controversial with many surgeons refusing to do it. Good luck.
