Sleeping positions ref question 21240

Hi,

It has been established that it is not a good idea to sleep on ones back when pregant, but does this refer to sleeping flat on your back or does it also imply propped up on pillows could also be detrimental. I know that this might sound silly, but I am seriously confused - and I cant sleep on either side. Please explain in more detail.

Many thanks

Propped up with a cushion in the side is fine.

It refers to flat on your back. Propped up with pillows is fine, however, if you start to feel breathless, you aren't high enough.
