Skin peeling off penis

Both my boys, aged 15 and 11 have skin peeling off their penis. The older one has had it 3 or 4 times now within the last 6 months to a year and the younger one is just experiencing the first time now. Is this to do with growth or is their a problem?

Dear Worried Mom
Rather have your GP look at this, it could be a candida infection ( unlikely in such young boys) or an irritation due to the washing powder or softner you use to wash their clothes - did you change brands lately? Try washing their undies only in green sunlight soap and see if it makes a difference. Some of the washing powders contain enzymes that may be irritating to sensitive skin.
