Our expert says:
Far too many sielkundiges act like quacks where the issue of possible earlier abuse of a child is concerned. Obviously, there can be clear physical signs, close to the suspected time and events, that there was a direct physical assault on a child. NO other psychological or behavioural symptoms are ever PROOF ( as some quacky shrinks claim ) that a child was previously molested, and ALL the symptoms they so often quote as such proof, not only occur in kids who have definitely NOT been molested, but are commoner in relation to other causes.
Some psychologists are too deeply personally wrapped up in issues of abuse, to that they find what they want to find, even if it wasn;t there to start with.
What you describe in your boy does not in any way suggest molestation, and unless there were good objective reasons to suspect it, I'd think he would be far more greatly helped by a shrink who focussed specificalyl on the episodes of aggressiveness.
