Severe headache during mestruation

I get extreme headaches for the last year when I am menstruating, why is that. I do not have children and my gynae suggested a copper T. what will this do, and why do I need it, and will it affect me later if I should want children?

Some women do have menstrual migraine due to hormonal changes at that time of the cycle. If you are not on the Pill, then there is no point in stopping this and trying alternative contraception. I am not sure why your doctor suggested the copper T.

Best wishes
