Severe, continuous pain down leg & back

Have had MRI, XRays,Radio Isotope,Acupuncture,prostate biopsy & more - no help! A friend has "Chronic inflammatory demylinating polyneuropathy" Do you think I could have something similar? Please explain.

I suggest that you consult a Neurologist again for a fresh perspective of what the possible reasons for your chronic pain down your leg and back are. Chronic inflammatory demylinating polyneuropathy is a very spesific diagnosis and needs to be confirmed by a Neurologist.
