LP, there are different forms of CK (creatine kinase), but a raised CK may be associated with the following:
1. Myocardial infarction
2. Muscle disease
3. Burns
4. Chest trauma
5. Collagen-vascular disease
6. Meningitis
7. Drugs (like cholesterol-lowering drugs)
8. Brain infarction
9. Hyperthermia
10. After operations
11. Status Epilepticus
12. After strenuous exercise.
The best would be to see a specialist physician because I can’t sort it out for you from this side of the screen. Good luck.
