Sensitive breasts

Doc can you pls help. I am 44 years old, had a histerectomy 12 years ago but still have my ovaries. I never breast fed my children. I am finding that my breasts (which are not big) have been very sensitive lately. Almost reminds me off when i was a teenager and my breasts were sore because they were growing, as my Mom used to say. Sometimes they feel bruised when I touch them but they are obviously not bruised. Could this be a hormone imbalance? Not sure what to do and cannot afford to go to a doc right now?

Hormones start to change at your age and this can cause breast tenderness. You could try Evening Primrose oil.
