It' s also not a bad idea to switch flea products now and then - frontline stopped working on my dogs (or rather: on their fleas) a while back, so I switched to Advantage. Sooner or later, I' m sure I' ll have to change back again.

Check with your vet but a lot of people use allergex tablets for itchy dogs. Use Frontline every 21 days if needed and spray carpeting, bedding etc. with Flego or Ultrum Duration. Look at putting them on a Sensitive Skin diet like Vets Choice Sensitive, Eukanuba Special Care Sensitive Skin or Hills Sensitive Skin. They may have flea allergy dermatitis where one flea bite causes an " allergic"  reaction.
