Please help me, I'm confused. When is the safe period for not falling pregnant?

Dear goodylicious

This question is impossible to answer without more detailed information regarding the menstrual cycle patterns. In a normal 28-day cycle ovulation may occur anywhere between day 8 and day 18 but is most common on day 14. Also one has to bear in mind that the sperm may remain viable in the female genital tract after a single intercourse event.

There is not really any safe period. Rather use protection.
