safe remedies

any safe / natural sleep pill/ medicine to give a 3year old who has sleeping problems? and when you try to establish a good bed-time routine...moving him to his own room. Tried Natura rescue drops and capsules... i am at wits end. and if i need to go to dr. what should i ask for?

Sleeping problems in children are generally a symptom of something else eg emotional, psychological or of physical disease eg ADHD, fear, worms, itching etc. Try and establish the cause.
Most doctors would be very hesitant to prescribe sleeping medication for that age.
However, for short term use the following can be tried: Vallergan or Aterax Syrup (both Rx only).
Else try lavender oil (aromatherapy oil) or Stress Away Syrup- these are natural.
Antihistamine Syrup such as Phenergan/Prohist is often used as an OTC sleeping medication
