Hi there,
Is it safe to eat stuff like cheese - (gouda, cheddar) and mushrooms during pregnancy?

There is certainly no contraindication to cheese in pregnancy, neither to mushrooms.
There has been a lot of discussion about processed foods, specifically tinned foods in that they lack in nutritional value. Remeber the rule that you should not be "eating for 2". In fact weight gain should be ~12kg.

NB! Depending on the anticipatory reserves of fat from pregnancy still available and the level of physical activity of the mother, from 2750 to 3300 Kcal/day may be needed.
