I have used this medication, for acne, with excellent results about 12 years ago. Could this prodcut be used on a short term basis when no skin problems are present to " rejuvenate"  the skin?

Hi B, thank you for the question.
Roaccutane is only indicated for the cl
earance of severe acne or large areas of moderate to severe acne (It is not really indicated for rejuvenating the skin). Roaccutane has a number of possible side effects with some of them being severe and this should be kept in mind before starting this form of medication. If your concern are large pores and/or excessively oily skin other modalities should be considered first such as:
Topical products: NeoStrata Oil Control Gel, Clear Skin Solution, & Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 15
NeoStrata Glycolic Acid Peels: every 2 weeks for 2 months and then monthly
Avoid any topical product that contains oil including makeup
