Rise in body temperature during pregnanc

I am 24 weeks pregnant & hypertensive.Since the start of my pregnancy I've been experiencing a rise in body temperature (possible hot flushes) but constant for 2-3 days at a time. What causes this, is it normal. Can my baby handle the temperature hike. How can I ease this discomfort?

Have you actually been checking your temperature? You may feel hot - hormones can do this, but an actual rise above 37 degrees should not occur.

Best wishes
