Research report

Hi everyone,

Above you'll see chapters of the report on the significant research project conducted by Triangle Project, in partnership with UNISA's Centre for Applied Psychology, looking at various issues related to the LGBT community of the Western Cape. Over 1000 people responded, including many of you who responded via this forum - the questionnaire was also available here on Health24.

This is a large document and is available here by chapter to ease downloading. A printed version will be available from Triangle Project soon.

Read about the discrimination experienced, what's happening to LGBT people in schools, how the police respond to violence against us, to what extent we're out to our friends and families, our relationship status and our levels of stress and depression. I'd like hear your comments.

Thanks to the Health24 team for their great support and cooperation.
