RENAL ADONOMA

I HAVE BEEN FOR A SONAR AND THEY FOUND A SPOT ON ONE OF MY KIDNEYS, THEY SUSPECT IT TO BE A RENAL ADONOMA, I THINK THAT IS HOW YOU PRONOUNCE IT, COULD YOU EXPLAIN IT, AND IS IT DANGEROUS.?

Adenoma means a tumor of renal tissue and it is normally benign. It can be difficult to distinguish from a renal cancer and for this reason they may want to do a biopsy to just confirm that it is nothing to worry about. Renal adenoma is not dangerous
