Registered Dietician - what do you study?

Hi.

I was wondering what and where one would have to study to become a dietitian? Also are there any institutions that offer courses on Nutrition?

Many thanks,
Aerdrie

Dear Aerdrie
You study a variety of subjects such as Basic Science courses (chemistry, physiology, etc) and a number of nutrition-related courses such as diet therapy, normal nutrition, etc. Contact your nearest university and/or Technikon and ask if they have a Department of Human Nutrition.
Good luck
