Dear Arne

It can be an allergy with secondary infection. Put the dog on Efazol supplement for the rest of his life and wash the feet twice daily with bioscrub (chlorhexidine). You can also use 2 Allergex tablets twice daily if very bad.

Our 12 year old Miniature Pincture started with vomiting with a little bit of blood and then a stomach was running with dark stool and a little bit of blood. We took her to the Vet - he prescribed medicine for a ulcer. It' s been 2 days later and she still have a running stomach - dark stool. She also don' t have a big appetite as in the past.

Sounds like an irritation or allergy. Antibacterial stuff will only help against secondary infection, not against the allergy.

Your vet who has seen the dog needs to take this further. It may well be a grass allergy, but it could also be the dog' s diet, or something else.
