Sports Nutrition
Hi Wiz,
No vitamins will make you 'fitter'. Good training and a complimentary healthy diet will increase your fitness levels. Vitmains and mineral supplements are important if your diet is lacking in any way. A general multi-vitamin may help to ensure you are meeting your daily nutritional requirements. An omega-3 fish oil supplement is important if you do not eat 2 or more portions of 'oily' fish per week (e.g. salmon, sardines, pilchards, mackerel, trout etc). Calcium if you are not meeting your calcium requirments from your diet. A vitamin B complex if you are feeling stressed and run down. Be careful of being talked into buying a bag-full of expensive supplements becuase your diet should be able to meet your nutritional requirements.
