You will gain weight if you increase your energy intake and it does not matter which type of meat you eat. Protein foods like meat in any case do not really result in weight gain per se, because they are used for building muscle not fat. Your best solution is to increase your carbohydrate intake so that you have sufficient energy to fuel your exercise and replenish your glycogen then you will gain weight because you won't be burning your muscle tissue for fuel.
