puffy eyes

I am 32 years old and not allergic to anything. This time last year, my problem started - wake up with very puffy eyes in the morning which reduced during the day, but never really went away. I was told to increase my Eltroxin dosage from 0.05mg per day to 0.1mg per day. Eventually after about 3 months the puffyness became less and less but my eyelids were still a liittle puffier than before. Now a year later, it has returned. I am still using 0.1 mg eltroxin per day. Last year I tried many different antihistamines as well - with zero effect. The only thing that I have changed is taking USN Phedra cuts. But again - I have taken this before with no side-effects. I hope you have some advice for me, as it is really embarrassing to walk around looking like I have been crying all day or sleeping all day.

Hi Marissa
Puffy eyes can also be a sign of kidney disease, water retention or hormonal imbalances - has your doctor done a urine test, a UKE blood test and checked your Thyroid hormone blood levels yet?
