Dear Bonny

Prostatic infection is certainly an important cause of sub-fertility or male infertility and should be treated as soon as possible. Depending on to what extent the infection may have spread upwards into the testicle, will detemine any long term consequences which have ensued. However, in most cases the condition is fully reversible and will not lead to serious infertility problems.
