Dear Desperate Mom
If you, or a member of your family, suffer from a preservative or colourant allergy then it is important that you have tests done by your dr to determine exactly which colourants or preservatives must be avoided. Once you have this information you can contact the Allergy Association by visiting their Website at: to find out more about these allergies. Nowadays most processed foods contain some or other preservative or colourant, so diet that is free of these additives would consist of fresh milk, home-made yoghurt and cottage cheese, fruit and vegetables, eggs, meat, fish, porridges like maize meal or oats which you cook yourself, and home-baked bread, plus oils like olive oil.
Best regards
