Pregnant after Sterilisation?

I have missed my period for the second month now. Only time I have ever missed periods is when I fell pregnant. I was sterilized 10 years ago after a caesarian with my 3rd child. I am 42 years old. Do you think there may be a possibility of falling pregnant after sterilization? I have never used contraceptives.

All contraceptive methods can fail, so do check a pregnancy test. It would be very unlikely though.

Dear Manda.

My Mom's friend fell pregnant 13 years after her sterilization. She was 43, her daughter is now 7. I suppose it is quite possible. But there could be many reasons why you skip periods.
Good luck
