It is very unlikely that another pregnancy would occur so soon. However if you were given medication to stop lactation (ie dry up the milk) then it is possible to ovulate earlier than in normal circumstances. However in most cases a minmium of 6 weeks will be required for adequate return to normal physiolgical function. However, should your period not return within the next 2-3 weeks, then a pregnancy test should be done or alternately and ultra-sound scan should be performed.
