pregnancy a turn off?

Hi CS,

ever since I got pregnant 6mnths ago, my relationship with my fiance deteriorated. we used to make love every night, sometimes even morning and night. he would not get enough of me. since I got pregnant, he wont even spend time with me. he prefers to go to soccer matches with other people, not me, parties without me, we don' t stay tpgether, so he disappears every weekend and sometimes does not even answer my clalls when I call him. when we are together, he won' t even touch me, he gets into bed and pretends he is asleep, or he would say he feels pain whereever whenever I innitiate sex. sometimes he tells me he does not want to hurt the baby. which i think it' s totally rubbish. So I' ve let it go, we just live like that, now I hardly see him, even when I see him he avoids even kissing me. I suspect he is haviig an affair because I' ve seen messages friom women in his phone, his phone is forever on silent, he does not take some calls when I am with him. this is killing me. talking to him and suggesting counselling have not helped. I feel he is pushing me to cheat on him for some affection, why does he behave like this when he also said he wanted to have a baby with me? it' s like I am disgusting to him or something.

Some men react odly to their partner being pregnant, even without fully realizing i themselves. Some do believe that it can be dangerous or damage the baby, to have sex with a pregnant woman --- not true, bu worrying if he happens to believe it.
Ask him directly, exactly as yo have so reasonably sated your concerns here, what is happening, explaining as you did here, why this bothers you, and encourage him to discuss his feelings.
