How long after intercourse will a blood test show if someone is pregnant or not? How discrete are these people who perform these tests?

The blood test will be positive on the day of your expected period. If it is done at a laboratory, the results will only be given to you and your doctor.

Best wishes

A blood test could come up positive a few (maybe 2 or 3) days before your next period is due to start. Sometimes it only shows positive after this. A urine test can show positive from the first due day of your period.
The path labs that do the tests really do see this everyday, so privacy is not an issue to them. They will only give the results to the person you say they can.
