Our expert says:
Your dietitian will have worked out your portions and low-GI diet for your circumstances as they applied 2 years ago. It stands to reason that you would have to return to her for a reassessment if you have lost a lot of weight and/or started to do a lot of exercise, or if any other factors in your life have changed. If you are losing too much weight or are tired or listless on this diet then you would need to increase the portions you eat and also increase your intake of low-GI carbs. But rather discuss this with your prescribing dietitian.
