please help

A friend of mine asked me to find something out for her. She has been on yasmin for about a year and the instructions state that you must take 7 inactive pills (yellow pilld) before contraceptive protection is reliable. What if she took 6 yellow pills and had unprotected sex. Is she at risk of being pregnant and what signs must she look out for?

Dear Angel
You have a risk in the first month of taking the pill, so yes she could be pregnant. Signs are: missing a period, nausea, swollen breasts, picking up weight.

Hi Dr Bets, thank you so much for your response. What do you mean when you say you have a risk in the first month of taking the pill? She says that she hasnt been feeling nauseous, her stomach just feels empty all the time even though she has eaten already and she has headaches often. Which pregnancy test brand do you recommend?
