Planning to have a baby

Hi we planning to have our first child and I've never been to a gynae before, is it necessary to go to one before I concieve.

You should have yourself tested for German Measles antibodies.

It is also best to have a Pap Smear BEFORE you fall pregnant.

It is advisible to go so that he/she can check if everything is normal unless if you have tried for a long time without success. good luck
