Hi Doc, I recently went for a pre-pregnancy evaluation and it turned out that I have have hypothyroidism. I have since started treatment and wanted to know if it is safe to fall pregnant while on thyroid medication.

Hi Jacqui

I too have hypothyrodism and take Eltroxin tablets. Currently 28wks pregnant - no problems at all - they just monitor your thyroid levels carefully
