If it does not go a away you do need to let your GP have a look - but if it makes a yellow point and it is painful, it may be infection in one of the Bartholin glands. You can try and put bactroban ointment on if it is smaller than 3mm, but if it is bigger it may make an abcess and will probably need antibiotics per mouth.
