can you please explain to me what is pcos and what are the symptoms.thanks

PCOS+ Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Poly= many, cystic= "bags in the ovaries , not cancer, that produce more mak\le than female hormones in the balance" and syndrome= collection of signs and symptoms to make the diagnosis of a disease process.
Clinical symptoms of excess weight gain truncally, irregular/ change in period patterns, hair growth in male distribution, skin changes, infertility and onset of diabetes and CVD in later life.
There are USS features seen which show polycystic ovaries.
These above clinical and USS features are correlated with blood changes.
